Biography: Originally from Wichita Falls, TX, Richard moved to Austin in 2001 to attend The University of Texas. He received his B.A. in Government while working as a legislative aide for Representative David Farabee at the Capitol. After graduating college, Richard worked at Dell Inc. and AT&T before attending St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, he participated in the Criminal Law Clinic at The Center for Legal and Social Justice as a student attorney. Richard then studied under criminal defense attorney Robert G. Estrada in Wichita Falls, TX as a law clerk. He has now enthusiastically focused his practice in his adopted home town of Austin. Richard met his wife Ria while they were students at UT and they have been married since 2011.
